WHO WE ARE

We are a Colombian couple, my wife Fanny Díaz, medical pathologist and me Camilo Delgado, medical internist and  rheumatologist. We have 5 children, 3 grandsons and a life surrounded by animals, especially dogs. 

  
In September 2005 we began to live in a country area near Bogota, capital city of Colombia in South America. After many years of working in the big city, the dream of living in the country was able to be a reality... But it still lacked something, we wanted after raising during more than twenty years dogs as mascots and guardians, to breed a special dog... The search began...

In January 2006, we had one of the most beautiful experiences of our life when meeting with the first Clumber Spaniel, ChCo. Ec. Pe. V. AyC. AM Vishnu Quijote Del Cypres, thanks to our dear friends Adriana and Patricia Jaramillo owners of Vishnu Del Cypres Kennel, their father Guillermo and Jair Pacheco, foster parent of every Clumber Spaniel in Colombia.

¡ It was passionate love at first sight !

 Our home land was named Berkana in honor of the sixteenth Viking rune, rune of the growth, of the vital process, of reborning. It makes the man overcome the adversity and it symbolizes the unit of the cycle birth, death and rebirth. 

Berkana Du Selene began in August 2006 with the arrival of Troya´s PZ1 Andromeda (Sofie) daughter of Nonsuch Dapple Dawn (Zulu) and Troya´s ZM1 Démeter, granddaughter of Ch Clusexx Show Me The Money and Ch Nonsuch Ashes of Roses (SouthAfrica) and Great-granddaughter of great champions BISS BIS A/C Ch. SmokeRise Country Gentleman and Clussexx Hi Ho Hi Ho. (Pedigree)

Then in January, 2007 arrives Vishnu Berkana Clussexx Del Cypres (Kana), daugther of Am Ch Libell´s Hot Shot at Clusexx (Victor) and Col Ch Vishnu Dulcinea Del Cypres
